Beowulf Co-Star, Ray Winstone Sticks Up For Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie's co-star Ray Winstone has blasted the media and the paparazzi for its continual hounding of Brad Pitt's girlfriend. The pair worked together on the set of Beowulf.
The forthcoming computer animated film will be directed by Robert Zemeckis, according to Variety.
Zemeckis told The Hollywood Reporter, "'Beowulf' is a timeless, epic tale of heroism and triumph. Digital rendering will allow us to depict this incredible story in ways we would never have dared imagine, and it's a privilege to work with Shangri-La, Paramount and Warner Bros. on this extraordinary project."
In Beowulf, Jolie will reportedly play the queen of darkness, who tempts the titular Viking (Ray Winstone ) as he makes his way in the quest to become king.
Winstone is quoted as saying: "You know they said in the paper, before she even got on set, that we were having murderous rows! Why don't they leave this kid alone? She's a great girl."
Angelina Jolie has been named as one of the top ten most generous celebrities, according to Forbes. The business magazine states that the very pregnant 'Tomb Raider' star donates one third of her overall income to charity.
Say want you want about Angelina Jolie, but like her or not, she's a do-er not a talker.
